Saturday, August 19 - All-day trip
to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and the St. John Paul
II Eucharistic Center in Hanceville, Alabama. We have chartered
a bus for this trip and lunch will be provided at the Shrine.
The bus is now sold-out and departs at 8:00 am.
The K of C 7th ANNUAL
YARD SALE will be held on September 15-16 from 7:30
am-2:00 pm. Please save your donations this year for drop off
on September 11-14. Clothing donations denim only please.
Saturday, September 30: The Saint Theresa Festival!
Food, Games, Live Music! This will be held outside on 3rd
Avenue and inside at the Parish Life Center.
Sunday, October 1: Feast Day of St. Theresa! Masses
and an outdoor processional.
There will be a second meeting on Tuesday, August 22
for anyone and everyone who wants to help with this event.

apparitions of Mary to the three shepherd children at Fatima

upcoming events in our Parish related to this celebration
- Sejptember 10, Sunday the Parish will begin
the "33 Days to Morning Glory Retreat" which
is done from the comfort of your own home! The book for
this retreat will be on sale soon for $4.00. If you would
like to participate, please send an email to 33daysST@gmail.com.
Each participant will need a copy of the book and access
to the internet (computer, phone or tablet). We will hold
a book order on a Sunday soon, so watch for details in
- October 7th, First Saturday and the Feast of the
Holy Rosary. After confessions (11:30), Rosary (12:00)
and Mass (12:30) in the church, we will gather in the
Parish Life Center Hall for a simple lunch and Diane
Penney's presentation entitled "Coincidence?
I Don't Think So!" This presentation will highlight
the connections (since 1517) among world events, appearances
of Our Lord, Marian apparitions, Catholic Feast Days,
and signs in the heavens. Please join us as we discern
how our Lord is a God of order and harmony, even in private

at our Parish. If you would like to be sent these announcements,

Palms - If you have
blessed palms from past years, you may bring them to church for
us to dispose of. You may also dispose of them in a natural
way - - such as burning or cutting into small pieces and burying
in your garden. For those who would like to fold their new
palms into a cross -
MEMORIAL BRICK campaign - Final brick
campaign is now open. Order forms are in the vestibule for
your last chance to memorialize your intentions before we pernanently
secure ALL the bricks in place. This campaign will be for the
gray (or other appropriate contrasting color) that surrounds the
red bricks in the cross design.

this meeting with their children, afterwhich the students will
be directed to their classroom to meet their teacher. K and Pre-K

Youth, Middle School, and High School students
mark your calendars! September 23, 2017, we will be going
to the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament for the Youth Eucharistic
Conference. The day starts at 10 and ends with a Concert from
7-8. The Vigil Mass will be celebrated with Bishop Baker.

Formation - Starting September 3 - 9:00 am in the
Parish Life Center. The text for this year's class
is "Catholicism for Dummies" by Rev. John Trigilio.
You may purchase a copy at a bookstore; or at the first
meeting for $15.00. Fr. Bean is the instructor. Everyone
- Mondays - Maria Goretti Prayer
Group - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the Parish Hall . All
girls ages 13 to 20 are welcomed to visit, pray the Rosary,
and discuss the difficult issues facing girls today: dating,
purity, temptations, Catholic identity, etc.
- Legion of Mary - following the 9:00 am Daily Mass
in the Parish Hall Meeting Room. We are pleased to annonce
that we are now an official Praesidium (permanent members)
at St. Theresa. The "Terror of Demons Praesidium"
are called to serve our fellow Parishioners. with Fr.
Bean as our Spiritual Leader. If you feel you are being
called to serve, then the Legion of Mary is the perfect

Mysticism" from 10:00 am - 11:30 am in the

Cards on sale at 6pm. There will be a total of 6 games
played. Snacks and refreshments available for sale. No
alcohol permitted. Must be 18 or older to play per city
ordinance. Proceeds to benefit the Parish Life Center
